Splunk has a free license where you can consume a limited amount of logs per day. I’ve heard good things about Splunk so I thought I would try it out.
I installed it and pointed an Apache2 instance to it.
Logging in for the first time… well I want to change the admin password. Wait, I can’t do that? Maybe it’s under Users. Oh, I can’t delete users either?
rpm -e splunk
